3 Project Images and "Before the First Class"


The image above depicts a candle holder i made a number of years ago. The candles would sit above the branches and as the wax melted, it would run down and resemble the foliage of a hanging willow.



The image above depicts the movement inside a mechanical watch. I find the notion of  mechanically measuring the dimensional construct of time one of beauty. I also enjoy the level of precision and detail needed to achieve this and how each part of the movement is intrinsic to the overall function.


The image above depicts the water feature at the Salk institute. The feature, designed by Louis Kahn adds life to an otherwise lifeless space through the look and sounds of moving water.
